昨日ラジオを聴いていると、番組のゲストとして清水美依紗（しみずみいしゃ）という名の2021年にメジャーデビューした新人アーティストが出演していました。
番組内で流れた彼女が歌う「Starting Now」を聴き、こんな凄い子が新たに現れたのかと衝撃を受けました。
現在21歳の清水美依紗さん、私は彼女のことを全く知らなかったのですが、動画サイトなどで高校時代からその歌唱力はかなり注目されていたのですね。
清水美依紗（しみずみいしゃ）
2000年3月10日生まれの21歳。三重県出身。高校の文化祭で披露した動画がきっかけで、在学中に数々のTV音楽番組に出演。テレビ東京「THEカラオケ★バトル」で優勝を果たす。高校卒業後、ニューヨークにあるニューヨーク・フィルム・アカデミー・ミュージカ ル・シアターにて、演技/歌唱/ダンスを勉強。2020年3月に卒業し、日本へ帰国。 帰国後に始めたTikTokで様々な楽曲をカバーし、35万フォロワーを獲得。

彼女が歌う「Starting Now 〜新しい私へ」はディズニープリンセスの祭典「アルティメット・プリンセス・セレブレーション」の日本版テーマソング。
彼女はデビュー前にもかかわらず、日本語版の歌唱アーティストとして抜擢されたそうで、しかも日本語版の訳詞も彼女が担当したということです。
